Why I'm Writing This From a London Pub

Hey there,

Writing this from one of my favourite pubs in London - it’s a great city when you’re not doing the rat race or commuting thing.

Why? Because I can.

This is what freedom looks like - and yeah, it feels bloody good.

A Few Things I've Learnt This Week

1. The Newsletter Effect

I had a client ask me to consult on their whole brand strategy and newsletter. Just from the skills I've gained growing this one.

Mad how quickly these opportunities pop up and things really do lead to another when you take massive action.

When you build something valuable, people notice. When people notice, opportunities follow.

2. The Business Reality Nobody Talks About

Running a business completely changed how I think about risk.

Here's what I mean:

When you're employed, trying new things is really scary. Every "investment" comes straight from your pocket.

But when you're running a business? Totally different game.

Many business costs can reduce your taxable income:

• Professional development

• Software and tools

Everyone was saying I took a risk - but businesses play by different rules.
